Reporting to the Assistant Director of People and Culture, the Assistant Manager for Compensation and Benefits supports the needs of the business and proactively endeavors to manage a sound C&B program through strategic and resourceful measures.
This role involves working alongside operational managers and Finance team in managing the payroll cycle, overseeing and administering employees’ salary, benefits, and work injury compensation, including regular data analysis and market comparisons to propose competitive practices and policies.
In addition, there will be an active participation in designing a pay-for-performance plan, providing expertise in retirement plans, leave policies, wellness and insurance programs.
This position requires a leader that has creativity and critical thinking skills for processes and project management. As a member of the People and Culture department, you will have the ability to multi-
task in a fast paced environment, and handle conflicting priorities whilst meeting tight deadlines. You will also have the versatility to answer inquires which include but not limited to Benefits, Compensation, Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition and Talent Development.
