The Accountant supports the Accounting Manager, Accounting, Hong Kong in the Continent’s accounting operations and processes.
Education and Experience
Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
CPA or advanced degree preferred
Minimum of 3 years of public accounting and / or commercial accounting experience.
Experience in a complex accounting environment including multiple subsidiaries, currencies, and bases of accounting strongly preferred.
Knowledge / expertise in system & new application implementation, as well as process improvement, will be a plus
Preference for Big 4 external audit background as well as accounting experience with a major multinational corporation.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES
Responsible for Regional cost allocation and expense billing of centralized programs and services to the hotels and other offices
Address and resolve allocation and billing inquiries timely
Participate in the month-end closing process and prepare departmental accounting reports
Perform General ledger reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts assigned for Hong Kong entities
Ensure workflow and procedure comply with company guidelines
Initiate and develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency
Work closely with external consultants, internal departments, and regional offices
Provide / attend training sessions when required
Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned
