We are currently seeking a highcaliber professional to join our team as SeniorConduct and Regulatory Risk Manager .
Implementand maintain a framework of controls appropriate to HSBC Insurance Hong Kong,which are in line with the business’s risk appetite
PerformConduct and Regulatory Risk related tasks
Developstrong relationships with Group Insurance and RBWM stakeholders, as well asglobal functions in the first, second and third lines of defence
Continuouslyand proactively monitor established conduct and regulatory risk controlsagainst new and emerging regulatory risks
Provideregular reporting to senior management on risk and project progress, asrequired
Engagebusiness and department management to ensure ownership and remediation ofinternal and external audit and regulatory requirements pertaining to conductand regulatory risk, as required
Owningthe data privacy risk control monitoring process and delegation of controlmonitoring activities as appropriate
Engagewith and support relevant projects / initiatives emanating from Group Insuranceand RBWM. Assess whether new projects adhere to conduct and regulatory riskpractices and raise awareness of the need to remediate any identified issues
Degree holder with solid experience within conduct and regulatory risk issues either within or external to HSBC
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Confidence to interact with the senior management at all levels
Proven project and risk management capabilities with a focus on resolving complex problems
Effective matrix management skills in multi-cultural environments
Organised and autonomous
Practical knowledge of some or all of the conduct, risk culture, conflicts of interest, market abuse risk or other regulatory risk concepts and frameworks
