Position Summary :
Supporting the Regional Business Analysis Director and the Regional Business Analysis team, the Finance Intern will :
Support the Regional Business Analysis team and affiliates to ensure timeously submission of financial scenarios, and be the gatekeeper of all PR Asia deadlines
Support the Regional Business Analysis Director in ad hoc task and requests
Consolidate affiliates’ submissions and prepare regular reports for management’s review
Assist other departments in retrieval of data for analysis purpose
The Finance Intern will obtain a sound understanding of how a multinational company works, through the lenses of a major regional finance department, by observing and exchanging with various stakeholders.
He / she will also get a good grasp of underlying dynamics behind financial performance to understand better the Group and Business Model set up in Asia.
Key Responsibilities :
Business analysis
1. Management Reports and Reporting system :
Closely monitor the submission status of affiliates and provide support when necessary
Consolidate management reports for monthly reporting, estimates, annual budget and strategic plans
Provide support to affiliates on reporting system functionalities
2. Markets Finance key contact :
Act as the key contact with affiliates on all issues relating to management reports
Follow up directly with affiliates to understand the financial submissions and the impact of the business situation
3. Interaction with other stakeholders :
Assist other departments in retrieval of financial data for presentation preparation and analysis purpose
4. Other ad-hoc reports to top management or projects as assigned
Skills / Qualifications / Experience :
Essential :
Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar (In pursue)
Strong communication, organisation and analytical skills to effectively work with internal and external stakeholders.
Extremely rigorous
Excellent Microsoft skills especially in Excel and Powerpoint
Sense of entrepreneurship / takes initiatives
Fluent in English
Desirable :
Bachelor Degree in Finance or similar (completed)
Financial intern experience in Big 4 and / or MNC
Results orientation, ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Knowledge of Tagetik / Oracle / PRISMA / Essbase / Power BI
Other Asian language
