Job Description :
This position will report to the Chief Operation & Solutions Officer, Asia and manages a small team to grow the top-line and manage the bottom-line of the portfolio in alignment with SLF’s strategic objectives, always with our clients’ interests in mind.
Ensure that the entire region has a well-balanced solutions portfolio which maintains integrity in meeting financial and risk management standards while introducing the creative and innovative concepts and designs that will address consumer insights.
Product Design :
Introduce end to end solutions for client life stages
Provide solution development support & consulting to Business Units
Drive solution design and simplification by channel
Conduct regional wise market research and provide insight on recent solution trends and development for different markets in Asia
Establish a robust feedback loop to modify solutions to suit our clients’ needs
Co-create training and materials
Insights / Design :
Provide industry and market insights on developments
Solution research using data science
Modernize & Simplify :
Design solutions to drive ease of buying / servicing experience
Design and modernize policy forms and languages / app forms / underwriting / reinsurance
Extend BU support to rationalize products
Lead solutions and practices for platforms
Solution configuration and decommissioning
Use data science to innovate in underwriting, reinsurance and claims
Health Tech :
Explore health tech as a channel and / or service
Explore Virtual health solutions / loyalty programs
Simplify medical tests using tech / science
Strong background in life / wealth and / or health / medical business, especially in product development, review and underwriting
Understanding of business in multi-channels
Ability to work closely across all Asian markets
Excellent oral and written communication skills with a strong ability to influence
Good knowledge of the latest digital and technology trends and their applications
Demonstrated client obsession
Solid experience in digital solutions design, solution development, underwriting, with exposure to several lines of business (e.
g., Life, Health, Wealth)
FSA or equivalent credential a plus
Strategic thinking and execution skills
Hands on experience in Asia, preferably in multiple Asian markets
Experience in omni channel strategy a plus
