  • accuracy; efficiency and control to frame and influence business decisions. We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Senior Business Finance Manager.

    Principal responsibilities

  • Review and analysis of direct and indirect costs for AMH Retail Banking and Wealth Management businesses, provide insights to business on key cost drivers
  • Lead and provide robust forward looking forecasting of AMH Retail Banking and Wealth Management direct costs to facilitate business to make appropriate cost actions or prioritization
  • Conduit to Group Cost Performance and Global function Finance, Global Retail Banking and Wealth Management Business Finance and HTS Finance teams in relation to drivers and allocation methodologies for Group Recharges and Indirect Costs.
  • Review weekly revenue forecast model for AMH Retail Banking and Wealth Management to ensure robust assumptions and outcome
  • Prepare market share analysis to facilitate discussion on AMH Retail Banking and Wealth Management EXCO and market share forum
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders in Hong Kong, complement initiatives within Asia Pacific Retail Banking and Wealth Management Business Finance
  • Analyze stakeholder goals and effectively manage their expectations, support in provision of meaningful analysis and commentary
  • Identify and implement opportunities for offshoring to GFC and improvements to cost management processes
  • Compliance with external regulatory requirements, internal control standards and group compliance policy
  • Confidence to interact directly with and to influence various or diverse stakeholders
  • Working with co-workers to ensure collective delivery of team objectives
  • Maintain and observe HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal auditors, external auditors and external regulators
  • Requirements

  • University graduate with major in accounting, preferably with accounting professional qualification
  • Extensive years of relevant working experience within multinational Bank
  • Able to work independently and within a team environment
  • Have senior stakeholder management experience
  • Have leadership experience
  • English and Cantonese required
