lead the definition, implementation and improvement of the People & Culture department for the Asia Region with focus on our Chinese entities
drive international expansion in the region on all People topics from role definition to hiring and creation of a compliant labour law framework
oversee the implementation of our Employee Stock Option Program in accordance with local law for all jurisdictions in the Asia region
act as a leader, mentor and coach to build and develop a team with strong will and skill supporting our mission of creating a meaningful place to work and grow at Forto
advise regional Senior Management on all People & Culture related issues while creating transparencies on a global scale with solid reporting, KPI’s and metrics in close collaboration with the Vice President People & Culture
What you bring
You have gathered significant experience in the initial setup (market entry) and scaling of decentralized teams in the Asia region covering at least 2-3 jurisdictions.
You have hands-on experience with chinese labour law and the proven ability to research initial setups other jurisdictions
You were steering complex payroll / tax relevant topics (e.g. VSOP, Taxation of benefits) under chinese jurisdiction in the past
You are capable of steering Talent Acquisition with internal and external partners to scale our logistics and technology footprint in th region.
You HR IT (ATS, HRIS, HCP) system and rollout experience is a plus (preferably cross jurisdiction systems due to Chinese Wall restrictions)
