The Job

  • Report to IT Senior Manager for the Data Platform & Business Intelligence
  • Responsible for the enhancement and maintenance of the Data and Business Intelligence platform to support the evolving data-driven business
  • Establish and govern the technical standard and framework of the data platform
  • Support Data Governance tools and process to govern the data in Data Lake
  • Involve in project lifecycle including user requirement collection, requirement analysis and solution design, development, SIT and UAT support, documentation and post implementation support
  • Coordinate with Business parties and IT Application teams on testing and system deployment arrangement
  • Manage external vendors and lead a small team to complete designated initiatives
  • Provide BAU support services
  • The Person

  • University degree in Computer Science or equivalent, minimum 8 years' related to data platform working experience
  • Experience in ETL, data management, data pipeline and data mart implementation
  • Working knowledge of ETL (e.g. Talend), Hadoop / Hortonworks and Python
  • Good knowledge of data management best practices
  • Knowledge of Data Governance tools and process
  • Understanding of Agile / Lean software delivery methodology
  • Experience with Data Solution on Azure Cloud is an advantage
  • Good problem-solving skills and communication, and able to work independently with business users and vendors
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Good team player, self-initiative and pro-active
