International Mobility Manager Asia Region M / F

Mission :

Manage the global International Mobility policy across Asia Pacific Region in close cooperation with Country HR, Country C&B managers, and in close coordination with Corporate International Mobility, taking into consideration business perspectives & needs while respecting Company & Region procedures & guidelines.

Key responsibilities :

  • Communicate International Mobility Regional & Corporate procedures & guidelines within the Region, in close coordination with his / her management, Country HR & C&B, HR Leaders, Group HR’s, in close cooperation with business & organizations
  • Serve as the local on the ground mobility lead for the APAC region; partnering with the business, HR, legal, payroll, compensation, benefits, finance, accounting and tax teams to provide excellent in region relocation and immigration support to our employees and internal business partners
  • Engage with and support the local talent advisors and HR business partners to provide strategic movement of talent into, out of, and within the APAC region in a streamlined, efficient and compliant manner through our flexible policy offerings
  • Identify local trends or programmatic needs within the APAC region based on business needs and local standards
  • Partner with other internal Global Mobility team members in our headquarters to align with overall global programs and processes;
  • providing end to end support beginning with assessing the feasibility of a transfer, assignment or extended travel, creating cost estimates and policy documentation, initiating casework with our immigration, tax and relocation vendors, coordinating start and transfer dates and ongoing tax and immigration support

  • Assist with local vendor management and escalations
  • Serve as a resource to employees, managers, HR, Legal, Finance and Payroll for immigration / mobility data and processes;
  • ensure a high level of satisfaction by proactively identifying potential problems, and quickly resolving issues both internally and externally.

  • Participate in special projects and other duties as needed
  • Key requirements :

  • Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree preferably in HR or related specialization including World-At-Works program
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience in Global Mobility, International Human Resources, International Tax or Immigration;
  • applicants who have prior experience in global MNC organizations are preferred

  • Knowledge and experience working with tax, legal, compensation, benefits and immigration issues
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to represent complex issues and recommendations in simple ways to enable business decisions
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; Prior experience and competencies in data processes / management using PeopleSoft and Business Objects are desired
