Business : Trade & Commodities Finance ( TCF )
Position held : Assistant Manager or Manager, Transaction Management Office Documentation Specialist ( TMO )
Based in Hong Kong, the role will focus on the duties in the TMO (Middle Office) relating to Trade & Commodities Finance business / relationship management in the combined Hong Kong and Shanghai TCF teams.
Is a contact point for all external (clients) and internal questions related to TCF HK & Shanghai client’s facility documentation and transactions.
Arrange account opening, facility letters and other credit / legal documents in co-ordination with relevant departments.
Assist to complete Customer Due Diligence ( CDD ) for account opening and CDD annual review.
Assist Relationship Managers ( RSM ) in servicing the customers’ transactional needs through close co-operation with the operational and supporting departments (e.
g. Trade Services, Trade Banking, Remittances, Loan Administration, Legal, Compliance and Treasury).
Handle customer account enquiries.
Participate in commercial meetings and client meetings whenever necessary.
Participate in TMO related projects or system take-on and migration.
Honours Degree from a reputable university preferred;
At least 5 years’ experience in financial services; with either a strong background in in legal and credit facility documentation background with basic knowledge of trade finance operations.
Strong organizational skills and ability to handle pressure and tight deadlines;
Highly proficient in EXCEL and WORDS processing applications;
Self-motivated and confident with a high degree of initiative;
Excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Mandarin and Cantonese;
Excellent team player and exhibit a high level of motivation and drive
Less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager
