What you'll do

A) Own company-wide, global efforts in merchandising

  • Develop strategy, standards and best practices for merchandising (discounting, timing, product selection, placements, creatives / copy, etc.
  • in form of playbook, training sessions, and informal discussions

  • Plans, communicates, and test site merchandising / discounting plans and site changes for Klook's travel experiences and activities
  • See through execution of merchandising plans in partnership with regional marketing teams
  • Collaborate closely and bridge with regional marketing and supply teams to ensure the best match-up of supply and demand
  • Develop critical metrics and dashboard to measure performance of merchandising campaigns, and derive actionable insights to fine tune strategies and planning
  • B) Design and launch merchandising campaigns for new geographic markets, then transition to local teams

  • Build out campaigns rapidly whenever company decides to enter new markets, and optimize to best level possible without necessarily having local market / language knowledge
  • Prepare campaigns for transitioning to local team, including giving training as needed
  • Your KPIs

  • Traffic, conversion, ROI uplift from merchandising campaigns
  • Efficiency / productivity levels of merchandising campaign - sourcing of deals, launching, performance measuring
  • Exposure and revenue of new products acquired by supply teams
  • What you'll need

  • 8 years working experience in e-Commerce Merchandising
  • Travel industry experience strongly preferred
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and design tools, e.g. Photoshop
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and drive improvements in operational processes and supporting technology
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills
  • Bachelor's degree in any discipline
