  • Primary role is managing and maintaining the key client accounts which are handled at a corporate level and introduction of new customers while retaining existing ones.
  • Monitor the performance of these customers ensuring stability and growth in business.

  • Work on securing Customers which is in line with Pricing Strategy and maintain a close relationship with these customers to ensure smooth communication, long-term regular support, customer satisfaction and growth in volume revenue and contribution.
  • Have an amicable working relationship with various departments at the Principal and local levels to ensure swift & strategic pricing as well as smooth local working partnership so that the customers receive a high quality and standard of service.
  • Manage and implement strategies to achieve the objectives.
  • Analyse all customer requirements and develop solutions to complex problems and provide assistance on a variety of services and products.
  • Ensure compliance to all management reporting requirements and monitor work according to company policies.
  • Assist global staff in work and cross trade and design procedures to generate profitable sales in both existing and new business accounts through travelling and customer visits to ensure growth of business.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with decision makers and prepare various vertical market strategies to enhance growth.
  • Coordinate with operational and logistics staff and ensure all work according to customer requirement at multiple sites.
  • Supervise working of all staff members and provide appropriate training to all members to ensure achievement of all project goals.
  • Documents all communication plans and processes and prepare reports to be submitted to senior management.
  • Requirements

  • Form 5 or above
  • 5 years’ key account or sales management experience in shipping industry
  • Proactive, Customer-oriented, well organized and detail-minded with strong business sense & market knowledge
  • Good negotiation, analytical & presentation skills
  • Strategic thinking with excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Good command of written and spoken English & conversational Mandarin preferable
  • Proficient in MS words, excel & and power point
