Manager, Protective Security

HOST Risk and Administration Office

The HOST Risk and Administration Office is dedicated to manage operational risk, internal control, quality and sustainability across the Operations, Services and Technology business.

The team also plays a key role in driving robust service culture by managing customer feedback and incidents to ensure service delivery excellence, as well as providing consistent and strong operational support to the Bank’s business partners on procurement management, financial planning and knowledge management.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Manager, Protective Security .

Principal responsibilities

  • To assist Head of Protective Security Manager in conducting security reviews on Bank premises, and to identify potential threats to the Bank’s employees and assets
  • To manage departmental administrative work and office environment includes managing budgetary and procurement, licensing and insurance issue for department to avoid any violation to Security and Guarding Services Ordinance and other regulatory requirements;
  • To develop security education and training to all security personnel to ensure they are capable of meeting their responsibilities effectively.
  • Control of actual expenses against AOP
  • As coordinator for various functions i.e. VRM, G&E policy, Business Recovery Plan, BIRO and ensure to meet with Group policy and compliance requirements
  • Requirements

  • Holder of Bachelor’s Degree inSecurity / Policing related disciplines
  • Good concepts of securitymanagement with knowledge of security devices and well conversant with alarmand access control computer system
  • Good analytical, interpersonal,communication and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua is an advantage
  • Experienced disciplinemanagement
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
