Within the APAC Risk Department and reporting to both the APAC CRO and the Global Head of Frontier Risk Management (FRM Paris), the Senior Counterparty Credit Risk Analyst will implement the strategy and governance framework for Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) across Natixis APAC.
Main Responsibilities :
Develop and implement Natixis APAC Risk Appetite CCR frameworks, practices and policies across all market credit sensitive products.
Work with the Global Market and Risk departments, Headquarters and APAC, to implement this program throughout the region.
Perform counterparty and credit risk analysis of financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions and derivative exposure,
Actively monitor the CCR across business with a focus on proactive problem recognition, stress testing and overall portfolio management.
Recommend on appropriate trading limits and guidelines relating to the use of the limits based on the risk assessment of the transactions
Identifying risk in complex credit proposals and structures, suggesting approximate risk mitigants Assist to review and formulate the policies and procedures about Credit & Counterparty Risk
Involvement in product governance forums, analyze and advise on the impacts of new products and activities related to counterparty risk and ensure the implementation of an appropriate risk management framework,
Engage with APAC regulators and other stakeholders on counterparty credit and financial institutions discussions
Clear and responsive communication with senior management, auditors and regulators on all aspects
Required Skills :
At least 10 years of experience related to counterparty credit risk analysis on financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions,
Fluent on the quantum and good product knowledge on OTC derivatives and structured products with strong understanding in legal documents e.g ISDA, CSA, GMRA,
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, analyses and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to details and accuracy,
Good programming skills, experience on analytics libraries, data management, is a strong advantage,
In-depth knowledge of European and Asian regulatory requirements is required
Good communication and organizational skills,
Degree in Finance, Math or Engineering.
