POSITION SUMMARY :

Support the Senior Manager, Merchandising and Licensing to closely monitor licensees to ensure that the requirements are upheld and to foster business growth.

This position will provide management and / or support for a group of product licensees and international licensees.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE JOB :

Strategic

Regional Tommy Hilfiger Licensing contact, and support in communication between both Internal and External cross-functional teams and the Global Licensing team

Partnering with Regional Retail, Wholesale and Ecommerce Marketing Managers to co-create the Annual Licensed Products Marketing Plan and to develop 360 pan-Asian activations

Support in any O&O Channels (Retail, Ecommerce, Outlet) and Travel Retail teams collaboration, coordinate with the Licensees partner to implement Regional / Global Brand Directives

Support in internal Go-to-Market projects , coordinate with internal marketing teams and licensees on store openings, marketing and PR initiatives and merchandising strategies on a seasonal basis

Attending Trade Fairs and conducting meetings with licensees to review the business and unlock opportunities

Support on launch campaign, alignment on campaign launch with marketing on dressing, briefing decks and approval from global

Licensed product proto sample review and approval

  • Support in internal and external Photo shooting ;
  • Liaise with internal and external parties on PR and marketing issues proactively and independently

    Take the lead on PO contracts approval process

    Take ownership to collect feedback from countries as to maximize sales opportunities, optimize the collections, whilst maintaining a balance between commerciality and trend

    Tactical

    Assist the manager on global Licensing on special projects and analyses (strategy meetings, competitive analysis, store visits, etc.)

    Support in management of the commercial approval process for the Region and submitting Lists of Active & Approved customers to Global Licensing team on a Seasonal basis

    Maintaining Key Asian Department Store & Ecom Pure Players matrix on a seasonal basis

    Support in creating and Distributing a Quarterly Licensing Gazette highlighting Licensees’ Activity in Asia

    Monitoring Trends and Performing Quarterly Competitive Research to identify Market Opportunities

    Administrative

    Coordinate with licensee on obtaining necessary legal documents, business legislation setup, vendor setup and preparing contracts overview

    Collecting / Preparing sales reports to support regular strategy meeting

    Sales support on PO management, maintain style master , creating style code, preparing line sheet, GB test reports achieves for seasonal order

    Reporting monthly and seasonal sales performance for O&O Channels (Retail, Outlet, Ecom)

    BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES :

    On-going analysis of licensees financial forecasting, sales trends, and business trends

    Licensing Team T&E budget

    DECISION MAKING :

    Possess strong influencing skills

    Provide recommendations and guide teams to make decisions in a timely manner

    Ability to work with leaders to provide team recommendations for final decisions

    RESOURCEFULNESS / CREATIVITY :

    Comfortable with all levels and cultures / relationship builder, needs to be able to navigate within the licensees and at TH

    Ability to manage conflicting priorities

    Effectively and efficiently communicate internally and externally

    Flexible and able to adapt in response to business needs

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE :

    Experience :

    Minimum 5 years of experience in a fashion brand in the apparel licensing and marketing industry

    Experience in working with international licensees will be an advantage

    Education : Bachelor degree preferred

    Skills :

    Strategic thinking, supportive of Tommy Hilfiger’s long-term business goals

    Solid understanding of the retail and competitive brand landscape

    Excellent financial analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills

    Self-motivated, independent, strong business sense with excellent negotiation and communication skills

    Able to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment

    Proficiency in written and spoken English and Mandarin
