To us, the most important measure of our success is yours. Senior Manager, North America Credit and Collections is responsible for the functional leadership of the collections operations, systems, strategy, planning, staffing levels, and problem resolutions.

Strategically implement and develop the risk programs in line with Cision strategy as it relates to business objectives.

Works cross functionally with the greater collections, cash applications, and billing teams, as well as the sales and finance organizations as an escalation point of contact for conflict resolution, and all credit and collections activities, invoice inquiries and billing relationships with external clients.

The role requires strong communication and organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, the ability to foster teamwork, coach, and mentor team members.

LI-Hybrid #LI-CisionSales Key Responsibilities : Manage and evaluate collection operations performance and actions. Implement a disciplined and strategic approach to credit and collections policies, practices, and procedures.

Provide regular reporting to Director of Billing and AR and executive leadership on weekly or ad hoc basis, with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Have a thorough understanding of client payment behaviors, issues, and areas for improvements on an ongoing basis. Coordinate the development of effective training aids to improve and standardize skills and communications from the team.

Provide functional leadership in the development, enhancement, and use of collection systems. Establish targets, performance metrics and monitoring for collections team.

Provide coaching to team through team meetings, weekly 1x1 meetings, call shadowing, and coaching. Maintain consistent track record of superior problem solving and customer service, building strong relationships both internally with billing and sales teams and externally with Cision clients.

Participate on credit and collections improvement projects and process improvement initiatives. Qualifications : 5+ years or demonstrated expertise in high volume transaction Accounts Receivable organization 2+ years of supervisory experience Perform well under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and managing expectations Strong communication skills, strategic agility, process engineering, people management Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook NetSuite experience a plus
