The Accountant supports the Accounting Manager, Accounting, Hong Kong in the Continent’s accounting operations and processes.


Education and Experience

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
  • CPA or advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of public accounting and / or commercial accounting experience.
  • Experience in a complex accounting environment including multiple subsidiaries, currencies, and bases of accounting strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge / expertise in system & new application implementation, as well as process improvement, will be a plus
  • Preference for Big 4 external audit background as well as accounting experience with a major multinational corporation.

  • Hands-on experience in PeopleSoft is a plus
  • Strong proficiency in MS Excel
  • Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin is required

  • Responsible for Regional cost allocation and expense billing of centralized programs and services to the hotels and other offices
  • Address and resolve allocation and billing inquiries timely
  • Participate in the month-end closing process and prepare departmental accounting reports
  • Perform General ledger reconciliation of Balance sheet accounts assigned for Hong Kong entities
  • Ensure workflow and procedure comply with company guidelines
  • Initiate and develop processes and procedures to improve efficiency
  • Work closely with external consultants, internal departments, and regional offices
  • Provide / attend training sessions when required
  • Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned
