This role is a core member in the newly set up Enterprise Solutions & Services team, who executes and manages portfolio and vision of websites (including mini websites), with the objective to create and drive improvements to provide better customer experience across the three customer value streams (Search & Buy, Manage & Review and Claims).
The incumbent will work alongside the AVP of this new team and collaboratively with a wide group of internal stakeholders : IT / Ops, Experience Owners, Customer Experience and Strategic Marketing and Regional Digital Platform Delivery teams.
This position will report to the AVP, Systems Development under the Hong Kong CIO / COO Office.
Support and drive the Manulife omni-channel digital strategy
Manage cross-squad programs across complex technical, regulatory, or other cross-cutting needs
Ensure progress against important milestones where consistent and coordinated implementation is required
Maintains a perspective on impact of change on patterns required for implementation
Strong understanding of interconnections between various business priorities
Own the product backlog and feature prioritization process of a squad
Lead agile teams to ensure value creation for business & users
Drive the product strategy, planning, and delivery of key capabilities for the product (defines product goals)
Act as the voice of the customer in the definition of product; incorporates feedback from customer interviews and user research
Coordinate vendor delivery where development activities are outsourced
Work in collaboration with the experience owners and Customer Experience and Strategic Marketing team to develop and manage the customer digital channel roadmap, budget, and resources
Work with experience owners / IT / Customer Experience and Strategic Marketing teams to define business, customer and technology requirements and support the strategic and tactical implementation of these requirements and features
Collaborate with other key stakeholders to manage project implementation and communication change management
Collaborate with IT to align with the strategic plan and business objectives within IT frameworks, processes and resource allocations
Degree holder with at least 10+ years relevant experience at portfolio / project management level with proven record of success.
Experience in Business and IT related change and managing projects on digital platforms.
Experience in Insurance, Pension or Wealth industry is an advantage.
Good exposure in digital space in financial industry understands market, customer and business
Knowledgeable in Agile management tools, techniques, and systems development methodologies and lifecycles.
Knowledge of new technologies, applications, processes and strategies is advantageous
Manage projects / portfolio to plan, manage the project spend within approved budget.
Minimise exposure and risks by identifying and proactively managing, i.e. mitigation, all risks and issues affecting the project, including financial and operational.
Manage relationships across all business lines and with external parties, defining requirements, agreeing terms and ensuring delivery.
Highly effective influence, negotiation and collaboration skills with the ability to work across the enterprise regionally.
Flexible and adaptable when dealing with change with a strong awareness and understanding of cultural diversity.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels.
