Manager, Process Development and Transformation Insurance Division Hang Seng Bank was one of Hong Kong's bancassurance pioneers with insurance business footprint started since 1965.

Over the years, Hang Seng Bank has been committed to serve its customers by providing full spectrum of insurance products including Life Insurance manufacturing, distribution of General Insurance and Medical products, and MPF business.

Insurance is a fast-growing business and is one of the key drivers of Hang Seng Bank. As a well-established insurance entity, we take care of every need of our customers with an optimized service excellence through the Bank’s retail and commercial network, with a dedicated team of professionals in place.

Should you join our Insurance business, you will focus on maintaining close relationships with our corporate and individual customers, and providing them with premium service.

You will also be expected to develop new insurance products and distribution channels to meet the changing needs of customers in a dynamic environment.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Manager, Process Development and Transformation .

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead and manage implementation of business transformation initiatives; ensure quality deliverables which meet the business and customer segment requirements
  • Review and uplift the effectiveness and efficiency of after sales service support workflow, including underwriting, claims, policy servicing, and customer services
  • Maintain timely communication with back-end operation teams, IT teams and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle to ensure requirements are aligned with business objectives
  • Keep abreast of the latest compliance requirements of the Group, Bank and regulatory authorities, initiate necessary internal and external communication plan, internal procedural and system changes
  • Work closely with various parties (IT, business parties etc) to collect, prepare, organize, protect and analyze data assets to ensure that HSIC meets regulatory & compliance requirements and implementation schedule.
  • Perform UAT / testing when necessary


  • University degree in Information Technology, Finance, Business Administration, , Insurance or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management / service propositions management / business analyst in the banking or insurance industry
  • Passes in the Insurance Qualifying Examinations will be an advantage
  • Experience in IFRS17, BCBS, data / record management, data privacy will be an advantage
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, analytical skills, leadership & time management
  • Strong self-motivation and ability to work under pressure & independently, ensure delivery in a challenging environment
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese
  • Relationship management, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
  • Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager, Process Development and Transformation)
