The British Standards Institution (BSI) is hiring a Third-Party Supplier Auditor who will be a key member of the team, working alongside visionaries and innovators presents the opportunity to work in highly confidential and unique workspaces.
The team’s objective is to protect confidential projects and initiatives by introducing simple solutions that do not impede on creative environments.
To align with the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) Audit Framework, GSSPS has developed a 2021 Audit Program Enhancement plan.
This plan features an on-site assessment schedule that includes sites around the world. The GSSPS Audit Management System ensures alignment to risk requirements listed within CTPAT & TAPA criteria, documented company policies, and allows for deeper integration into the Third-Party Oversight & Management initiative.
It also ensures that third parties are adhering to supplier contracts and / or the physical security addendum, and that customer requests are being met.
Third-Party Supplier Auditor Responsibilities :
Supports with the end-to-end process of the audit management system to ensure customer requests are met
Assist on creating, distributing, and maintaining the audit program
Works closely with other team verticals to ensure compliance of business protocol and practices
Helps to develop and maintain standards, risk management approaches, and internal checks and balances
Project planning and execution
Conduct assessment / audits and documentation verification and validation of procedures or physical security items provided by supplier
Conducts opening and closing meetings with GSSPS & third party
Manages onsite audit process
Supports ESAM team with other vendor security review activities as needed
Maintains ethics and adheres to an organization code of conduct or the principles of auditing as listed in ISO 19011
Able to travel up to 30% in regions such as APAC and EMEA
Education / Qualifications :
Masters’ degree with three (3) + years of experience; or bachelor’s degree preferred with four (4) + years of relevant experience;
or six (6) years of relevant experience
