We are currently seeking high caliber professional to join our team as Team Lead, Business Compliance.

Principal responsibilities

  • Work with Group and Local Line of Businesses and SMEs to lead the dissemination of Global and other Regulatory Financial Crime Risk (FCR) policies changes to the Hang Seng Insurance (HSI)
  • Lead the Business Financial Crime Risk Management team in delivery of FCR agenda and related governance activities in HSI
  • Advise the Client Selection and Exit Management process and related governance
  • Provide client lifecycle management advisory service / expertise in relation to FCR
  • Provide operational oversight for core FCR processes, systems (Transaction Monitoring / Risk Ratings / Screening), MI, and ensure plans, projects and expected performance is delivered.
  • Support Governance Forums in order to keep management abreast highlighted and escalated on Programme / Projects related matters / issues / risks
  • Requirements

  • Knowledge of Non-financial / Operational Risk and Internal Control principles and proven ability to assess risk trends
  • Ability to articulate issues concisely in the language of the business and communicate effectively and confidently across cultures and at all levels of the organization
  • Proven ability to analyze situations and solve complex issues
  • An excellent understanding of the current regulatory environment and expectations, relevant regulations and codes in relation to FCR
  • Experience of managing teams and coaching junior team members
  • Proven behavior to do the right thing, take accountability personally, demonstrating good time management and commitment to the assigned deliverables
  • Demonstrable insurance business knowledge
  • Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
