Lead, manage and supervise a team to perform daily AML / CFT client risk assessment function;
Develop and maintain AML compliance programmes that are in compliance with local AML / CFT legislation as well as rules and regulations issued by the HKMA and relevant authorities;
Review complicated customer risk assessment cases, provide advisory support and assistance to management and business on high ML risk customers related queries and issues;
Provide job training and quality checking on the works done by team members, ensure consistent working standard across the team;
Lead projects in customer ML risk assessment area or as assigned;
Review management information reports related to the Team and monitor the submission in a timely manner;
Ensure AML / CFT related information and publications are properly distributed and duly communicated to relevant units;
Assist the Head of AML Compliance to perform his / her duties and dealing with projects or tasks from to time being assigned.
Degree holder in Law or related disciplines;
Minimum 8 years in AML compliance area with at least 2 years management experience in a sizable financial institution and / or regulatory bodies;
Direct experience and knowledge in designing, managing and implementing AML compliance programs and processes across different business segments and handling cases on high ML risk customers assessment;
Possess good knowledge on banking operations, products and services
Self-motivated, independent with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Fluent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin; and
