Your Responsibilities :

The role of HR Operations and Payroll Supervisor exists to be responsible for the HR Operations and Payroll in respect of employee life cycle including on / off boarding arrangement, payroll and benefits administration and to build Human Resources' credibility in Hong Kong & Macau offices covering bother GSK's Pharmaceuticals and Consumer Healthcare Business Units.

Payroll Operations :

  • Work closely with payroll vendor to ensure the payroll accuracy, prepare the payroll variance analysis for management review and work with Finance and Bank for a smooth and timely payment process
  • Handle the monthly employees’ pension administration which includes ORSO and MPF
  • Lead the tax reporting process for new hires, leaver, and annual tax filing
  • HR Operations :

  • Manage the employee’s life cycle processes include on / off-boarding arrangement, people movement (promotion, off-cycle review, probation management, etc)
  • Review and revamp the current HR payroll & operation process to improve the HR efficiency as well as ensure the processes are legally compliant
  • Act as system administrator for Global and Local employee benefit programs including but not limited to Employee medical benefits
  • Update the employee information in HR system and manage employee’s personal file to ensure the data accuracy and all documents are properly kept
  • Provide support on the vendor payment processes include Third Party Oversight, PO creation and payment arrangement for Human Resources related invoices
  • Support in the employment visa application process and relocation arrangement as a liaison with external vendors
  • Work closely with auditors for both internal and external HR-related audits
  • Provide ad-hoc HR support where necessary
  • Provide support in new HR projects where applicable
  • Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent
  • Breadth & depth across HR operations and payroll functions including but not limited to local labour ordinances, local tax policies etc.
  • Basic qualifications :

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant working experience
  • Experience in MNC with matrix organization or Shared Service Center is desirable
  • Skilled in Microsoft office programs such as Excel, Word and Powerpoint
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Can-do attitude, detail oriented and good team player
  • High learning agility
  • Exhibits high attention to problem solving and willing to drive changes
  • Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Fluency in Mandarin is a plus
  • Preferred qualifications :

    Preferred Experience :

  • Experiences in using advanced HR systems (eg SAP, WorkDay etc.) is highly preferred
