HSBC Wealth Management leads the Asia-Pacific implementation of our global strategy to deliver world-class solutions to retail and private clients seeking to grow, protect, preserve or transfer their wealth.

This involves the development and management of needs-based solutions covering foreign exchange, deposit, investment, insurance and financing products, as well as the provision of suitable market insights and updates, financial planning and advisory services.

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Mobile Platform and Innovation Lead .

Principal Responsibilities

  • Mobile platform lead accountable for delivering a best in class mobile experience to Hong Kong customers
  • Accountable for continuously improving core experience on the Mobile X app using insights from NPS, App store rating, usability testing, direct customer feedback
  • Work closely with different product teams to ensure a coherent overall experience for customers including easy access and navigation to product and servicing journeys
  • Work closely with DCE team to ensure new features are being commercialized to drive up Mobile active and engagement numbers
  • Work closely with distribution team on transaction migration of customers from branch to mobile and future Omni channel strategy
  • Think about the medium and longer term architecture requirements for the app based on business demand, customer needs, market trends, emerging technologies to ensure the underlying platform is scalable and can cater to business needs
  • Ride on usability testing and interviews with customers to determine the issues they face, test product ideas and receive valuable feedback on our development efforts
  • In addition to being the Mobile Platform lead, supporting the wider COO team to look at new innovative technologies to optimize costs
  • Requirements

  • Customer focused, results based approach, able to deliver to deadlines
  • Experience of Agile, Knowledge on Mobile App Development cycle and Release arrangement
  • Extensive experience with the range of product development and deployment activities including identifying opportunities and developing business cases, defining product or service requirements, engaging a wide range of functional experts to agree deployment approach, project execution, launch, and post launch performance measurement and management
  • Working experience with different tools ( Jira, Confluence, Slack)
  • Comfort with technology including ability to translate business and customer need to product requirements, customer journey mapping, technical assessments, organizational buy-in, launch, and ongoing management
  • Strong communication skills for navigating through business / product requirements, differences of opinion on approach.
  • Experience in developing and executing customer facing and staff facing communications an advantage

  • Demonstrates flexibly when addressing shifting or competing priorities
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships across stakeholder groups
  • Proven ability to influence large teams without direct leadership authority
  • Able to share responsibility for key decision making with a team, while accepting responsibility to drive internal decision-making processes.
  • Ability to effectively influence and communicate across various business lines and units

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferable
  • Strong Analytical and Presentation skills
  • Energetic, positive attitude and team player
