Applications are invited for appointment as to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in History, Anthropology, Science, Technology and Society (STS), or a related discipline, specialized in technology and culture in Asia.
They should be fluent in English and at least one East Asian language. The appointee will work under Professor Angela Leung for her Collaborative Research Grant Project Making Modernity in East Asia : Technologies of Everyday Life, 19th 21st Centuries (C7011-
16G) (https : / / mmea.hku.hk), assisting the project team in research-related liaison, coordination and administrative work.
He / She will also be engaged in the construction and maintenance of the project website-cum-virtual museum.
