Product Manager Description Role Overview : The product manager is responsible for fund services suite of products for Asia markets.
This is a 6 - 12 month contract with a vision to convert into a permanent staff. Key Responsibilities : Focusing on managing and delivering the service offering Leading the effective launch of new Fund Services products in the region and deliver product level description with prioritised features and corresponding justification Understanding client requirements related to asset and fund services products and solution Defining the product strategy and road map per market and per client segment (Asset Managers, Asset Owners, Alternatives) Driving and increasing the profitability of the assigned products portfolio through life cycle management Ensure appropriate profitability modelling is in place, and assist in the design and development of financial models where required Analyse, price and approve new business opportunities Work closely with Sales to establish sales pipeline and revenues projections, and track deal performance against sales plan / pipeline Developing the core positioning and messaging for the product Acting as a product champion to support sales during their marketing activity across the region, and translate / interpret client demands into service enhancements and / or new offerings Developing sales tools and collateral with the support of global product & marketing team Working closely with global products teams and operations to develop core product enhancement and targeted tactical solutions to meet Asian clients and prospects requirements Partner with other product leaders to package innovative end to end" solutions for clients and specific markets Be an expert with respect to the competition (market watch, metrics) Contributing actively to the company geographical expansion in the region by analysing new markets, defining the product strategy and monitoring implementation Key Skills : Experience in the fund industry in Asia 4 -
7 years experience as a Product Manager either within an asset management company or a custodian bank Demonstrated success defining and launching products Proven ability to influence cross-
functional teams without formal authority A clear ability to interact, communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels and across functions Capability to undertake detailed analysis and to formalise documentation to support the product life cycle Understanding of the Insurance sector Experience on Asian markets, including frontier markets.
