Seasonal Assortments :

  • Identify market-specific seasonal opportunities and priorities based on consumer and industry trends
  • Partner with Retail Planning to finalize the OTB plans including key KPIs
  • Develop the category and subcategory strategy and top seasonal initiatives
  • Develop seasonal conceptual assortment plans
  • Generate forecasts for key milestones (proto, line close, pre-Go-to-Market, etc.)
  • Finalize the buy plans, ensuring they are within the financial budget and address consumer needs
  • Collaborate with country retail teams to understand specific market needs, review seasonal strategy and assortment plans and secure their support of the buys
  • In-Season Management :

  • Prepare information to share with Allocation team during a seasonal hand-over meeting
  • Prepare product information to share with Retail Ops for seasonal boot camps to ensure the frontline staff understands product F&B and key marketing styles
  • Participate in weekly retail meetings with country teams to understand in-season risk and opportunities to the financial plans and changes in market trends.
  • Review SKU performance to recommend actions to meet ST targets within margin expectations
  • Work with Supply Chain Demand Planning to review stock delivery status and identify solutions for any issues.
  • Analytics

  • Generate in-season reports to review performance at a SKU-level by country / channel / collection
  • Recommend in-season actions to meet ST and other KPIs
  • Reviewing Stock vs Sales ratio for consolidation action and liquidation plan
  • Work with Allocation team to recommend in-season promotions and markdown cadence
  • Conduct post-season analytics to understand the season’s performance, review SKU efficiency and identify changes to future assortments
  • Review and update store clusters
  • Generate ad-hoc reports and analytics as needed with quick and accurate turnaround
  • Market and Consumer

  • Travel the market to collaborate with country teams, understand the stores and trends
  • Participate in store visits (internal) and competitor market visits (external) to understand retail trends and consumer needs
  • Work with Marketing to understand the seasonal marketing calendar and product highlights
  • Work with Visual Merchandising to understand store planning and capacity
  • Have a solid understanding of pricing and recommend price targets to Product / Merch
  • Create briefs for retail product needs by channel for Product / Merch
