Job Description
We are currently looking for a management consultant to join our team in Hong Kong. As a Senior Consultant / Manager in Finance Transformation, you will support client projects within these areas :
Improving Finance Operations : Accounting / Finance projects and change management / transformation within the finance department (e.
g. implementing finance shared services, internal controls, quality close and integrated reporting or finance process efficiency)
Digitalizing the Finance Function, e.g. leading transformation projects with robotic process automation, finance system implementation, finance advanced analytics, ERP or Finance blockchain
Position Overview :
Participating in projects with leading financial institutions, Insurance, and Fortune 500 companies, across multiple industries, helping our clients to develop the Finance Function of the Future.
Be an active team member and provide support to managers and key stakeholders for the successful execution of client projects.
Working closely with our other offices and leverage our global network to take part to cross-selling initiatives and widely share our knowledge
Sharing consulting best practices with the team.
Prepare material to support business development initiatives
Responsibilities :
Independently drive the success of a workstream by directing activities, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and timely submissions of deliverables.
Delivery end to end product implementation, including requirement gathering, testing and change management
Manage stakeholder relationships and complex projects
Mentor junior consultants
Help to build the Finance practice
Participate in business development activities including content development, proposal preparation, and sales presentations
Share consulting best practices with the team
Qualifications
A Bachelor or equivalent in Finance or Accounting will be desirable
3 - 6 years of experience in a management consulting firm and / or banking industry, and have driven successful change and transformation projects within the finance function
Solid understanding of complex financial proudcts
Experience managing system implementation with complex business structure
Excellent project management skills, stakeholder management, C-Level experience
Data mapping & process re-engineering experience
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and client face-off.
Ability to work independently and take full ownership and responsibility.
Project Management skills
Strong documentation skills using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Fluency in English is a must, with knowledge of Chinese (Cantonese and / or Mandarin) highly advantageous
