The principal objective of this role is to operationally manage the Global Payment & Reporting team (7 staff) delivering time sensitive solutions for Crown’s Corporate Mobility Clients as part of a wider Financial Services practice based in Hong Kong.
In addition your banking and payment expertise will contribute to the strategic direction and evolution of the wider team by making process improvements or delivering enhancement projects.
These projects may variably include global payment systems and alternative payment solutions for clients etc.
Key responsibilities will include :
Oversee a team of 7 staff and ensure quality payment and reporting service
Keep updated with new payment rules and regulations
Identify new solutions to keep CWM payment products a market leader’
Implementation of new clients within agreed deadlines
Implement and maintain effective payment & process controls
Maintain a highly customer centric culture of excellence & continuous improvement
Deliver a premium customer experience which achieves or exceeds internal & client KPIs
Day to day client management, including pro-active issue resolution for payment & reporting issues
Build strong relationships with our internal and external clients and other stakeholders, including payment vendors including banks
Active involvement in system upgrades and new system testing, UAT and implementation
Job Specific Competencies
8 years plus relevant experience with at least 3 years people management experience
Have a deep understanding of cross border and local payment rules and sharing this knowledge across the team
Financial sector or accounting / treasury knowledge around accounting for global payments an advantage
Proven experience in documenting business process
Excellent written and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
Skills to lead and grow teams including remotely
Be open minded and aware of cultural differences
Candidate with accounting qualification will be preferred but not compulsory
