Reporting to General Manager - Sales Operation, the Job Holder will lead a team of engineers from HK and PRC to manage the development process of converting product concept to manufactureable product that meets quality, cost, delivery and capacity requirements.
He or she should be the chief project manager providing technical and supervisory advices to the team members to ensure smooth and on-time execution ofall product development projects according to set schedule.
Degree holder in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering discipline
10 years relevant working experience in product engineering with at least 4 years on managerial position.
Experience in toys / electrical appliances / optical frames preferred
Strong project management, people management and problem solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadline
Good communication skill in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, Mandarin
5-day station in Dongguan is required
Key Responsibilities :
Analyze, monitor and track the agreed targets. Trigger corrective actions or evaluate further improvement possibilities
Lead the team to liaise and communicate with customers on all assigned projects
Organize, in collaboration with other departments, necessary arrangement for project scheduling, sample making, materials sourcing, product certifications etc.
Provide proactive and constructive feedback to related parties (eg Sales, Designer, Customers) regarding potential technical / manufactory problems to allow for necessary re-evaluation and possible remedial actions.
