BHC’s Treasury team is in a multi-year transformation journey to incorporate best-in-class processes covering Bausch Health’s global businesses.
Our Treasury team is responsible for managing capital structure, foreign currency risk, global liquidity and bank relationships.
This position will play a critical role in the Treasury team’s effort to optimize liquidity management in Europe and Asia Pacific and further strengthen the Company’s liquidity profile.
Execution of Asia Pacific (APAC) regional daily cash management activities.
Daily concentration of cash and manage investment and short-term borrowing decisions.
Resolve daily operational cash issues in a timely manner in coordination with the local finance team in APAC region.
Compile daily / weekly / monthly cash reports and distribute to various departments as necessary.
Execute electronic transfers and other funding necessary to APAC regional cash position.
Support monthly cash forecasts, cash repatriation and funding decisions on regional and legal entity level.
Coordinate APAC regional cash forecast activities with Corporate Treasury team in Bridgewater, NJ.
Support administration of APAC regional bank accounts, incl. procedures of opening and closing accounts as well as changing bank account signatories.
FX spot trading, supporting local Finance teams in FX spot trading and related currency settlements.
Provide inputs for Corporate FX hedging program resulting from APAC regional cash pool activities.
Support compliance activities with internal controls, policies and procedures in day-to-day conduct.
Support activities for adherence to SOX controls and other regulations including record keeping and data testing as requested.
Support implementation of Treasury Management System for the APAC region in collaboration with other departments.
Assisting in financial reporting where required.
Other Treasury department project tasks assigned, as necessary.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, MBA preferred but not required.
Requires minimum 0-2 years’ experience in Treasury, Finance or Accounting with strong focus cash management and operation.
Experience with bank cash management systems, Hyperion Essbase and with SAP 4 / Hana Treasury modules strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with the ability to communicate and negotiate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders,
