The newly created role is part of the Asia Communications team and will drive the organisation’s traditional and digital events and communications in Asia.
The candidate will support internal clients on their communication needs, lead key digital communications initiatives and internal and external events in Asia as well as raise the overall digital communications capability to support regional communication and business priorities.
He / she will be involved in the design and execution of a clear, differentiated digital communications strategy that can grow brand awareness, drive sustainable internal and external audience engagement, and support business units’ communication and business objectives.
INTRANET, SOCIAL MEDIA AND CONTENT EXCELLENCE
As owner of the Asia social media page, responsible for daily social creative content creation - Development of creative ideas and content across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and design simple visual, GIF, and animation.
Coordinate closely with local social media channel owners to target content to audiences in key Asian markets.
Participate in brainstorms and develop creative concepts that translate into storytelling, video production, graphic designs for varieties of social communication campaigns (e.g. advocacy)
Analyze social media effectiveness, propose hypotheses for improved performance, and drive experiments to test those hypotheses.
Provide training to staff in Asia in terms of social media advocacy, coordinating closely with the business unit communication manager.
OWNED PLATFORM MANAGEMENT, ANALYTICS & INSIGHTS
Provide oversight and governance on owned digital communications properties in Asia, including and not limited to the corporate websites.
Collaborate closely with local teams to drive delivery of digital customer journey enhancements in an aligned manner while adhering to global standards.
Lead regular monitoring and reporting on key KPIs and platform performance data & insights.
Spearhead data-driven creative and content development by leveraging platform tech / tools.
Plan and execute virtual, hybrid and in-person events that are targeted at our internal and external audiences.
Work with offices and teams across Asia to organise events at the Zone level that covers 10 countries and regions.
Select and manage digital event platforms and event production tools that are compliant with Group Cyber Security Policy and work for all BUs (including Mainland China) to deliver flawless event execution, including invites, event production, audiovisual requirements, speaker management, overall logistics and post-event administration and analysis
SUPPORT INTERNAL CLIENTS
Support internal clients and support functions to develop communication materials such as brochures and presentations
At least 5+ years of experience
Excellent planning and organizational skills and determined to deliver high-quality work
Must have good energy and a positive attitude

Ability to collaborate effectively across teams, regions and vendors
Ability to question the status quo with the objective of continuous improvement

Skilful in graphic design, video editing and web conferencing is a must
Strong knowledge and confident use of social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube and LinkedIn)
Tech savvy : always have your finger pulse of latest technology & competitive trends, keeps on top of new features and platforms like TikTok or other global social trends and ability to discuss technical network topic with IT
Strong technical knowledge and experience in working with social media management tool (e.g. Hootsuite / Sprinklr), CRM and marketing automation systems (e.
g. SalesForce), digital event platforms including platforms that work in Mainland China
Experience in Adobe Analytics and / or Google Analytics
Experience managing third party digital event agency
Exposure to paid strategy and planning, understand SEO, web traffic metrics and digital marketing.
Expertise in digital marketing including online ads, direct communications, social media and content marketing is a plus
