Develop amazing store designs in accordance with Brand Standards.
Assess site and demographic information and develop appropriate design for each site.
Select appropriate furniture, fixtures, finishes and equipment that appropriate for each site.
Provide custom details where necessary.
Effectively communicate project status with team members on a consistent basis.
Collaborate with external consultants to deliver project.
Participate in design reviews with management.
EXECUTE COMPANY REGIONAL DESIGN TARGETS
Execute design from concept to construction documents about 30-50 projects a year.
Deliver designs that are on budget.
Hit project deadlines and key milestones on schedule
Ensure all intended scope of work and code requirements are met, are aligned to design intent and reflected in drawings.
You are who we are looking for if you have a passion for all things design including an understanding of history and current trends in retail design furniture, and fashion.
You have an understanding of the interplay of Brand - Design Communication. You are able to balance design, with operational needs and budget objectives resulting in exceptional projects, have the ability to execute multiple designs under tight deadlines.
You can clearly communicate your ideas visually and verbally.
Experience in multiunit Retail, Health & Beauty Design or Development organization minimum 2 years
Design experience in China, other international markets, Asia a plus.
Professional degree in Architecture, Interior Design and / or a related field of study.
Working knowledge of building and health codes and compliance issues.
Current knowledge of industry trends in retail store and grocery design including fixtures, furniture and finishes.
Ability and working knowledge of colour, materiality, foundational design principles.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite, 3D visualization software a plus.
