Role accountabilities :
Undertake day to day site supervision of the Advance Works Contract (6 days per week but excluding public holidays).
Prepare and maintain site diary and field records, including taking site photographs.
Examine and vet all Contractor’s proposals; method statements; material submissions; temporary works design submission;
correspondence; and prepare replies and draft certificates.
Attend meetings with Contractor on matters relating to the Advance Works Contract including progress, safety and public complaints and prepare minutes of these meetings.
Liaise and attend meetings with parties other than the Contractor on matters relating to the Advance Works Contract.
Attend monthly Utility Liaison Group Meeting with utility undertakers, the Client, the Contractor, and the Engineer.
Attend Traffic Management Liaison Group Meeting with the Contractor, the Transport Department, and the Hong Kong Police Force.
Attend bi-weekly site progress meetings and ad-hoc meetings with MTRC, the Client, the Architect, and the Engineer.
Prepare bi-weekly progress reports.
Examine and vet all Contractor’s method statements and deployment of plant equipment for submission to MTRC to prepare its Divisional General Notice (DGN) and Engineering Documents (EDOC) submission.
Check calculation of quantities of works submitted by the contractors each month and certify their work done.
Bring to attention of the Contractor, the Client, the Architect, and the Engineer any malpractice that could be detrimental to the proposed works and Railway Related Works.
Preparation of the defect list and outstanding works list to be issued to the Architect for issuance with the practical completion certificate to the Contractor.
Assistance in handling over completed works to relevant government departments and MTRC.
Qualifications & Experience :
Registered Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering discipline with minimum 8 years relevant working experience (minimum 2 years in similar capacity)
