About the role

At Itec, we deliver Products for Assembly and Testing systems include Die bonders, High Speed Testers, and Automated Optical Inspection (Vision).

For the Vision team we are looking for a Senior Manager. This multidisciplinary team has about 10 specialists with focus on Software, Mechatronics and Services.

The Auto Optical Inspection equipment is a growing market, we use latest technology trends as Deep Learning and Artificial Intelligence.

As Itec, we initially delivered to the internal Semiconductor backend factories, but started last year to launch our Auto Optical Inspection equipment to external customers as well.

We are in a fast-growing mode. Our team in Hong Kong is currently around 65 employees, our growth plans for 2022 are around 85 employees.

What you will do

Overall responsible for Auto Optical Inspection (AOI) Products covering Development, Industrialization, and Product Life Cycle Management;

Drives Business Success of the product in All Aspects via Entrepreneurship, secure product meets Best in Class Performance;

Responsible for Product Benchmark, defines Product Roadmap to secure Product Competitiveness;

Leads a Multidisciplinary Product Team to Realize New Development according to product roadmap, owns Resources and Budget Management;

Responsibility in Customer Service to manage New Product Introductions, Supporting Equipment Install Base, Issue and Complaint Handling, Warranty and Repair Management;

Responsible for meeting Annual Strategic Targets and Continuous Improvements Goals;

Develops the Product Team to enable success of the product in sustainable and scalable way.

What you will need

Bachelor or Master degree in Engineering discipline;

10yrs+ experience in Auto Optical Inspection / Semiconductors / High Precision Equipment Development, Product Management, and / or After Sales Service;

Advanced disciplinary knowledge and expertise in Product Management;

Vast experience in running Development and after sales Service Processes for equipment;

Strong Team Builder and player, with ability to create environment where people are self-motivated to deliver results;

Good communication- and interpersonal skills;

Result oriented

Fluent in English Speak, read and write is a must. Proficiency in Mandarin and able to read and write is an advantage
