About this role
You will be speaking to a wide range of companies across all industries and work with some of the most exciting companies.
Our clients are typically in the Public Relations, Communications, or Marketing departments, and because Meltwater is a service that can value-add to businesses across all industries, you will get exposure to organizations of all shapes and sizes, helping you improve your business acumen with every step of the way.
You will have a strong focus on working with our Senior Sales Executive to identify and qualify sales opportunities and build a strong sales pipeline.
You will be fully in charge of the prospecting and nurturing of new opportunities from outbound activities and building a strong pipeline of sales opportunities to deliver on monthly targets.
The role will give you opportunities to pitch to and participate in meetings with C-Suite Executives, as well as a chance to consult with them on their PR, marketing, and media initiatives.
You are driven and ambitious who will enjoy working with and learning from the mentoring of great sellers, strong leadership in a supportive environment focused on personal development and career advancement.
High-performers in this role can expect to advance their career in 6-12 months to be Sales Consultants, holding ownership over the full sales cycle.

What you will be doing?
Prospect a variety of companies and organizations across multiple industries
Generate interest and create opportunities with new prospects via cold calling, email, phone, Linkedin, etc. to build a pipeline of targeted prospects
Research companies and evaluate their structure and marketing & communications strategies to understand how best to position Meltwater’s products.
Achieve activity goals relating to outbound calls, emails, and social selling
Conduct high-level consultative conversations with C-Level executives in prospect accounts
Ask open-ended questions to prospects that uncover business needs and overcome objections
Schedule product demonstrations, and collaborate with their sales team to qualify customers, build a pipeline and drive deals
Meet and exceed your daily, weekly and monthly activity goals
Leverage lead generation tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc. to create relationships with prospects
