Description
Applicants should have(i) a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering or other related disciplines(for Postdoctoral Fellow);
OR a Master’s degree in abovementioned disciplineplus four years’ relevant post-qualification experience (for ResearchAssociate);
ii) knowledge of or experience in System On a Chip (SoC),especially Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) and Digital Signal Processing(DSP);
iii) experience in embedded systems development, especially with theexperience in motor drive package development; (iv) strong problem-solvingskills and project execution capability;
and (v) self-motivation to workindependently and co-operatively with other team members. Work experience inthe industries will be advantageous.
The appointee(s) willbe responsible for (a) hardware design and software development for FPGA, DSPand SoC; (b) testing and troubleshooting the integrated circuits problem;
c)developing embedded systems; and (d) sourcing the required electroniccomponents.
Appointment will bemade on contract basis for two years, renewable subject to good performance andmutual agreement.
