Chief of Staff & Project Management Officer, HK/TW MCO


Overall Mandate is to bring pragmatic solutions & value-add support to the Head of HK / TW MCO and by effect the total Company, towards its strategic objectives.

In principle to become

  • Business Support to GM Office. Ensure highest effectiveness & integrity of GM Office and Leadership Team.
  • Strategy & Analysis Partner. Add perspective & analytical rigour in addressing critical Strategic & Ops Topics.
  • PMO. Of Projects as assigned by GM, depending immediate business need, and candidate’s own capabilities.

    Business Support to GM Office

  • Business presentations (general). Support GM according to specific occasion, including presentation & material preparation, core messages & speech writing, built on sound underlying research and analysis
  • Business meetings & reviews (general). Manage GM-attended business meetings from coordination (planning, agenda, logistics) to synthesis (minutes) and follow-
  • up (of action points and their tracking).

  • MCO Governance. Manage MCO Governance platform including MCO Council (quarterly), Strategy & People Forum (quarterly w / HR), S&OP Performance (monthly w / Supply & Finance), Management Exchange (monthly)
  • Daily Ops of GM Office. Uphold overall productivity & efficiency of GM Office by implementing value-add Tools (eg. to-
  • do list ), Processes (eg. regular touch points), and Habits (eg. follow-up & reminders)

  • Extension of GM Office. Especially as Partner to HK / TW Leadership Team. And in general, embody the values & goals of the GM Office, HK / TW MCO and Company, when engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategy & Analysis Partner

  • Research & analysis. Conduct efficient & meaningful resarch & analysis, whether for Intelligence, or to support Business cases / Decision-making.
  • Strategy initiatives. Drive formal Strategic initiatives, such as budget cycle, long range planning (LRP), and other ad-
  • hoc Corporate strategy exercises.

  • Strategy & Busines input. Develop Strategy Consultant capability & credibilty with GM and Leadership Team, in sparring ideas, shaping direction & initiatives to achieve goals.
  • PMO . Of Projects as assigned by GM, depending immediate business need, and candidate’s own capabilities.

  • In order to maximize the Role & Impact the Candidate must quickly Develop a fundamental Market understanding of HK / TW, Healthcare / Pharma, Policy and Competitive environment;
  • as well Business understanding of the Company intrinsics, including Organization, Strategy & Objectives, Business franchises & Products, and Culture & Value system .

  • MBA holder
  • MBA holder
  • Graduates from global business school good experience working across borders and international exposure a plus
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in multinational company
  • Corporate Strategy, Business Development, Top Management Consultancy experience a plus
  • Healthcare, Pharma experience a plus
  • Very strong Business acumen, able to quickly understand business concepts & nuances
  • Extremely strong Project Management ability, including ability to manage diverse relationships with cultural sensitivity
  • Expert level Business analysis & presentation (PPT, delivery) a must (especially from a strategic standpoint)
  • Ability to plan, set priorities and working under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Ability to navigate & digest ambiguity
  • Media and communication savvy
  • Excellent skills in using MS Office
  • Fluent in English (close to native speakers) & proficient in Mandarin
