Asset Management - Strategic Partnerships & JVs - Project Manager
BNP Paribas
Hong Kong, Hong Kong, HK

In light with the launch of new Wealth management companies JVs in mainland (such as Amundi-BoC WMC, Shroders-BoCoM), BNPPAM is pursuing a similar opportunity with a major local bank.

The project includes 2 phases : phase 1 with negotiation of the terms of cooperation, business plan and filing of required documents by the regulator CBIRC.

It is expected this phase to last 2 months with potentially the support of consultants. Phase 2 with the definition of the new JV operating model, definition of business needs and implementations of required infrastructure, IT systems, staffing and procedures.

Different workstreams with BNPPAM experts / contributors should be organized. This phase is expected to last 6-9 months.

The role will be fully dedicated to this project. It will consist in supporting the proper governance of the project (organization and follow-up of committees), coordinating with BNPPAM workstreams and challenging them when necessary, coordinating with the JV team of the local partner.

This mission of overall 1 year could potentially lead to join the future JV in mainland. Ideally some exposure to Asset management would be a plus.

Written and oral mandarin is a must. The role will first be based in HK with frequent travels in mainland when possible.
