The IT Racing Wagering & Lottery Solutions Department is responsible for the overall management and delivery of racing wagering and lottery (Pari-mutuel) transaction host components, commingling gateways, control systems and their associated information systems lifecycle.
You will :
Take the lead role in delivering business requirements including the review and signoff within the agreed timeline and budget.
The requirement areas covers : ( Racing & Lottery wagering, Pari-Mutuel product and transaction processing)
Work closely with development teams to ensure that the documented business requirement can be fulfilled
Work closely with business team and relevant stakeholders to ensure user business requirement is properly converted from user requirement
Prepare and document business functional requirements and non-functional requirements and provide solution to resolve business problem
Work with the project team to define iterations and how to deliver more iteratively
You should have :
University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or extensive experience and understanding of HKJC betting operations especially around horse racing and lottery wagering and / or branch and call centre operations
Strong capability in problem determination and business thinking
Good understanding of IT project management and status reporting
Knowledge of Agile and scrum methodologies- user stories, acceptance criteria writing, sprint planning experience, etc.
Capacity of building strong working relationships with internal IT & business managers, and must be a team player
Highly motivated and team oriented
Proficiency in both spoken and written English
Good knowledge on gambling or gaming industry
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, i.e. Word and Excel
Experience in using business analysis tools, requirement repository tools other project delivery tools such as Jira, Confluence, Serena
Basic understanding on Data and Business Architecture
Knowledge of system integration pattern
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
