Retirement line of business is one of the largest at Willis Towers Watson globally, in Asia Pacific and in Hong Kong. With more than 40 associates in Retirement business in Hong Kong, we advise clients in design, management and operation of their Retirement programs.
One of our key focuses is retirement scheme consulting. From assessment to design, from market benchmarking to provider selection, we offer the whole spectrum of services to meet the needs of our clients.
Our aim is to help employers to maximize the value of the retirement arrangement as part of their overall total reward program, including offering choices and designing better communication strategy.
On all aspects of retirement programs, you will be responsible for delivering consulting projects and business development.
Performance Objectives :
Partner with lead consultants to deliver consulting projects, including design, costing, implementation and management of a full array of retirement programs
Act as the project manager and maintain excellent relationship with assigned clients
Lead actuarial valuations in accordance with regulations and applicable accounting standards (statutory funding, IAS, FAS, etc.)
Advise clients on the compliance and best practice for their retirement programs
Participate in business and prospects development activities and initiatives
Grow the MPF broking business through providing a full spectrum of advices and supports to clients
Follow best-practice work processes to ensure high quality of service and deliverables to clients and compliance to internal control process
Monitor project plan to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery
Provide feedback to associates working within the project team
Coach junior associates through developing their technical expertise
Support initiatives of Willis Towers Watson, including but not limited to inclusion and diversity
Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or other mathematics-related degrees
Qualified actuary (UK, US or Australia) is preferred but not a must
Minimum 3 years of working experience
Previous working experience related to retirement programs or with a consulting firm is a plus
Excellent project management and analytical skills
Strong interpersonal, relationship building / relationship management skills
High energy individual looking for a dynamic, growth oriented environment
Flexibility and agility to work in an emerging market situation
Being able to work well under pressure and tight timeline to meet client needs
Effective written and verbal communication in English and Cantonese in a business context is essential. Fluent in Mandarin is a plus
