RESPONSIBILITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

Responsibilities :

Equities Management supports the global leadership team across Sales, Trading, Execution, and Strats towards driving the commercial success of the business.

Candidate should have an understanding of and strong interest in the equities business. Focus areas may include one or more of the following : One Delta Trading, Equity Derivatives Trading, High Touch Execution, Low Touch Execution, Structuring / Exotics, Equity Swaps / Synthetic Products

Manage the business affairs of the trading and sales desks acting in the COO capacity of the respective desks

Lead the financial analysis of the business : understanding profitability trends, customer activity, key financial metrics, allocations of costs, balance sheet, attributed equity, etc

Driving strategic projects, including new business investment, strategic change management. Working day to day with the stakeholders in Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal

Understanding key regulatory changes in the market place and working with leadership to determine the GS response

Working closely with the senior management team on special initiatives and projects

Staying connected and working towards consistency with the global teams in each region

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Basic Qualifications

1-4 years of specific roles with technical skill sets, and / or roles that have components of product / expense management

Strong capabilities in analyzing competitive dynamics in and across market segments

Strong ability to manage data (Excel) and perform detail oriented work

Excellent ability to craft and deliver a story through presentation formats

Experience with assignments relating to technology

Excellent organizational and communication skills

Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive projects

Commercial and creative approach to problem solving
