Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, working with more than 150 ophthalmologists and visual scientists in Hong Kong and Mainland China, is committed to advancing patient services, research, training and education to the highest possible standard in all major areas of ophthalmology and visual sciences.

b) co-ordinate public education workshops and lectures for primary students and parents, school teachers and social workers under eye-
screening projects; and (c) perform clinical, surgical and research duties at the CUHK Eye Centre in the Hong Kong Eye Hospital if needed.
In-house training, including assistance in consultation, ophthalmic procedures and investigations, and assistance in eye surgeries, will be provided where appropriate.

Appointment will initially be made on a contract basis for 1 to 2 years commencing as soon as possible, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
