Assistant Vice President / Vice President, Revenue Optimization (Field Support)

We are hiring a key member of the global revenue optimization team based out of Hong Kong and responsible for supporting Revenue Optimization organizational effectiveness.

He / she will lead a team to primarily focus on developing advance RO training materials, processes and tools to support Revenue Optimization core deliverables.

This leader is tasked to align hotel and regional stakeholders on the value proposition of the discipline and to ensure the discipline delivers against stated objectives.

As an Assistant Vice President / Vice President, Revenue Optimization (Field Support), we rely on you to :

  • Maintain core deliverable standards and map training, processes and tools to deliverables
  • Partner with regions to standardize multi-hotel centers of excellence (tasks, staffing, allocations), and help build compelling business case for regional teams to socialize
  • Build tool kit of best practice processes, tools and system usage to support effective delivery of core deliverables.
  • Partner with Shangri-La Academy to build entry to advanced curriculum for revenue optimization skill development
  • Ensure training is in place to help broader organization understand discipline basics and critical business process.
  • Ensure training and compliance for effective system setup and usage
  • We are looking for someone who :

  • Minimum of 8 years’ revenue management experience
  • Minimum 5 years'' experience in leadership roles, including multi-unit. (Candidate with less leadership experience will be considered as Assistant Vice President)
  • Strong project management skills - ability to define, scope and lead projects from start to finish.
  • Strong communication skills - can align cross-functional teams around priorities and drive execution
