The Strategic Procurement Department is focused on delivering effective business solutions through a strategic management approach of our costs, our supplier base and the continuous improvement of our internal processes whilst upholding professionalism, integrity and good governance.
The Job
Be responsible for demand planning of food related sub categories across the entire business and ensure Procurement’s early involvement;
Develop and implement sub category plans within food cluster which ensures supply availability, meets quality and food safety standards, and delivers best value to the Club;
Monitor market intelligence and sourcing opportunities to ensure the Club’s future growth needs are supported;
Lead the sub-category team to execute strategic initiatives / supplier strategies (sourcing approach / tendering etc) to manage qualtiy of incoming goods and optimize cost
Develop and maintain strong supplier relations what make the Club a customer of choice;
Ensure reliability of supply chain
Conduct sourcing and competitive tendering process to ensure opportunities for innovation are fully evaluated and, where appropriate, introduced or implemented in the Club
Drive continuous improvement for the procurement function through analysis, market benchmarking and sharing of best practices
About You
Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or related disciplines
Procurement qualifications (e.g. CIPS) will be an advantage
At least 10 years of work experience in food and beverage procurement
Experience in sourcing live seafood, fresh and local meat for fine dining outlets and new product development will be an advantage
Strong food and beverage product knowledge and good local market knowledge
Experience in managing tender process and preparation of tender documents
Positive attitude with the can do spirit and a good team player
Strong analytical and communication skills
Good command of Chinese and English
Candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Procurement Manager.
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
