Purpose of the Position :
The Account Manager will work together with the Advertising sales managers to consultatively sell SCMP Ad Solutions. He / She plays a vital role in delivering post sale services, ensuring campaigns are delivered effectively and efficiently, building long term relationships with clients and agencies, which will in turn contribute to better revenues.
Job Responsibilities :
Working with Advertising sales managers on Banking & Finance, and Sports-related accounts and provide expert knowledge on clients' businesses and domestic and regional media landscape.
Working with sales managers to consultatively sell SCMP Ad Solutions (print, digital, content marketing, events etc.), focusing on idea-
driven activations to effectively close sales deals and integrated solutions in order to increase the sources of revenue stream.
Working with the digital team on digital campaign execution and optimization
Deliver post sale services, and collaborate with multi-functional teams.
Build long term relationship with clients and agencies by the efficient management of campaign executions, assisting the overall growth of the business
Job Requirements :
University graduate, preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Advertising, Communications or related disciplines.
At least 5 years relevant experience in print and digital Ad sales support, and account servicing experience, experience working on Banking & Finance accounts will be a plus.
At least 4 years for Account Manager)
Knowledge and experience in digital advertising is required (at least in one or all of these : display, content marketing, social, programmatic)
Self-motivated, results-oriented, aggressive and confident, with proven track record of delivering projects
Able to work under pressure, strong in planning, well organized, and able to prioritize effectively.
Works well as an individual and in a team.
Proficient in PC applications.
Strong written and spoken presentation skills.
Fluent in English and Cantonese. Putonghua desirable.
