Reporting to Director of Business Planning and Analysis, Asia Pacific, the Business Manager has finance management responsibilities of approximately USD100-
350M (one or multiple brands). This person partners with the Regional Brand VP / GM / Director(s) to achieve key goals in sales, cost of goods, operating expense, NOP, fixed assets and inventory management.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Driving the brand(s) strategic planning, budgeting and monthly estimate process. Participate in the annual budget and lead the monthly estimates process
Conduct productivity analyses, category mix and performance, and other key performance metrics to maximize investment opportunities.
Provide strategic analysis to the Regional management team and recommendations for improvements
Consolidate the overall brand regional results, ensure compliance of financial policies and coordinate amongst the NY Brand / NY Corporate and Affiliate management teams
Support the execution of business planning and analysis to deliver regional goals and review of business performance
Teamwork and collaboration with marketing, demand planning and supply chain planning functions at regional and affiliate levels, particularly in demand planning process to validate sales assumptions and forecast reconciliations.
Provide analysis of saleable and promotional inventory levels at trade and in warehouse
Interface with NY Brand / NY Corporate / Affiliate Management to ensure effective communication and to facilitate the planning and control process
Participate in financial accounting activities for the regional office
Skills & Requirements :
University Degree in Finance / Accounting with minimum 5 years working experience in finance, preferably in sales affiliate or retail industry
Broad understanding of the annual budget and estimate processes
Excellent analytical skills and accuracy required
Keen and able to collaborate and communicate cross functionally with sales, marketing, demand planning and supply chain
Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills are necessary
Strong knowledge of computer software including computerized financial systems and user-oriented program packages
Fluency in English. Other Asian languages e.g. Cantonese, Korean, Mandarin or Japanese would be advantageous
