Overview of the role
This role is supporting the Operations Risk Group (ORG) under Technology and Operations Risk in Asia.
Scope includes operational risk reporting, incident monitoring and management, risk issues and actions monitoring and driving risk initiatives on raising awareness on Operational Risk and Regulatory Controls.
Description of Role
Technology and Operations Risk is a global risk team to ensure that adequate controls are in place to mitigate operational risk across Operations and to protect the firm from such risks.
With the increasing demand over regulatory risk and internal controls, a challenging opportunity has come up to support, monitor and manage the operational risk programs for Asia Operations.
Key responsibilities :
Responsible for the Operations Risk Reporting for Asia including Japan
Provide support and manage risk incidents, KRIs, open issues / actions and overall support for risk reporting for Asia Operations
Risk Monitoring and Oversight include :
oAsia Operational Risk Incident Monitoring and Monthly Reporting
oAsia / UK Senior Managers Regime Operational Risk Incident Monitoring and Monthly Reporting
oHK Managers In Charge Regime Operational Risk Incident Monitoring and Monthly Reporting
Support the Regional Leads to manage and liaise with regional stakeholders to ensure smooth rollout and implementation. Examples of Risk Agendas :

oRisk and Control Self-Assessment
oRegulatory Inspection and Audit
With over 7 years of relevant experience in Operational risk management in financial industry
Solid experience in Operational Risk management. Experience in Asia Operations Processes is a plus
Good understanding of Asia regulatory environment / banking / financial regulations
Proactive, Independent, self-motivated. Work independently on risk initiatives.
Good communication / presentation / interpersonal skills. Interact effectively with global teams and with others departments in the region

Good analytical skills
Good project management and execution skills - Ability to execute under tight timelines and with high quality
Strong writing skills, with experience in writing operational desktop procedures
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PPT)
Fluency in English is required
