IT Enterprise Solutions Department provides high-quality and innovative business application solutions (non-wagering) and IT services to all divisions and departments within the Club in the portfolios of Racing, Customer and International Business Development , Corporate Planning, Branding, Membership, Charities and Community, Legal and Compliance, Corporate Affairs, People and Organisational Development, Finance, Audit, Property, Security & Integrity, and Integrated Project Management Office.
You will :
Work with business users to document requirements and prepare specifications.
Work with technical leader, project manager and business users during the phases of requirement, design and development to ensure quality of deliverables and service
Perform system design, development (including customization, interfaces, conversion and reporting) and software release.
Managing and coordinating with vendors efficiently to provide support from time to time and during outside office hours
Complying with established standards and processes, conduct design / code review to ensure quality in delivering software deliverables
Working with the Club’s System Assurance Team and Change Control Team to ensure projects and changes are fully tested and deployed to the production environment accordingly
Identify and escalate any critical issues during the development cycle which affects time, budget or quality to the technical leader and project manager in a timely fashion
You should have :
University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience in software development, system integration, and system support, with experience in PeopleSoft HCM / HRIS application would be an advantage
Proven skill in PeopleSoft development would be an advantage
Proven business skill in supporting HR / payroll applications would be an advantage
Able to lead offshore developers and work independently
Ability in problem troubleshooting and diagnosis
Good presentation and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with internal IT, HR, payroll stakeholders and external vendors
Proficiency in writing, presentation and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Putonghua
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. A contract employment will be offered to the successful candidate.
Contract renewal will be subject to mutual agreement between the Club and the individual.
