Prestige Investment Sales Manager

Retail Distribution Wealth Sales Distribution

Hang Seng's Retail Distribution focuses on personal wealth management and financial services. Our one-stop wealth management initiatives are designed for both our affluent and mass integrated account customers.

With more than 290 branches and automated banking centres, including around 60 Prestige Banking Centres for our high-end personal customers, we serve over half of the adult population in Hong Kong while offering an extensive range of products to our valued customers.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our Wealth Sales Distribution as Prestige Investment Sales Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Lead, execute and proactively implement advanced coaching techniques to motivate and encourage learning and re-enforce application within the work place
  • Provide guidance to frontline sales in the branches, and also responsible for formulating and implementing tactics / strategies
  • Monitor and review current sales process in order to improve channel efficiency and customer experience
  • Enhance capabilities and professionalism of the sales force to improve overall customer satisfaction
  • Manage the performance and ensure the professionalism and sales quality of team members
  • Ensure that all control measures relevant to the job are undertaken to minimize risk exposure of the Bank
  • Adhere to all relevant processes and procedures of the Group compliance policy and internal controls
  • Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration or other relevant qualification.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years’ relevant experience in retail banking, with strong knowledge of investment products
  • Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership and coaching abilities
  • Good presentation, interpersonal, negotiation, communication and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
  • Passes in the Hong Kong Securities Institute Licensing Examination and Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination and attains relevant professional qualifications such as CFP / CFMP / QRA / CFA an advantage
  • Customer centric mindset and ability to manage complex interactions effectively
  • Shown strong situation awareness, strong desire to learn and able to work in Agile environment
  • Able to inspire others to achieve their goals / ambitions in a variety of situations
